From whale watching, to zip lines, kayak tours, to wineries there is plenty for all in the Pacific Northwest.


Take a hike along the beach, then head inland for lunch in the river valley, dinner at a winery. The next day drive through the mountains to the Eastern Washington desert areas.

Seattle Area

The Seattle area offers plenty for city lovers and for nature lovers alike. Check out Pikes Place market for flying fish and the first Starbucks, as well as shows, like Shen Yun or plays at the Paramount Theater. The space needle is a great tourist attraction, as is the many museums around the area. Make sure to stop by the Chihuly Gardens for some beautiful glassworks.

From Seattle, head up the sound to the San Juan Islands.

San Juan Islands

The San Juan Islands are the jewels of the Puget Sound area. Rocky coastlines offer beautiful views of emerald waters. Quaint Eastsound offers delicious chocolates, kayak rentals, and whale watching tours. Head up Mt Constitution, and hope for a clear day, for views from Seattle to Canada.


Olympic Peninsula

The Olympic Mountains maintain an aura of mystery and wildness not seen often these days. Hike the Hoh Rainforest or head up to the Makah reservation and check out their amazing Tribal museum. If it’s summertime, head through Sequim for the lavender festival.


There are many things to do in the Pacific Northwest, all depending on your tastes and preferences.
